What we keep about you, why, who else handles it, and what you control. DSB Technologies, LLC is responsible for your data.
1. What we keep
- Your email address and the name the interviewer calls you.
- Your resume, which the interviewer reads before your round.
- The job postings you paste, and the skills we read from them.
- Your rounds: the recording and transcript, your result, the written feedback on it, and your own notes on how it went.
- The links you share, who you made each one for, and how often it was opened.
- What you bought and when. Card and UPI details go to Stripe; we never see them.
- If you choose to show them on a shared link: your email or LinkedIn address.
2. Why we keep it
To run your rounds, score them, show you your result, send you the emails you asked for, let you share a link, and record what you paid for. We don't sell your data, and we don't show you ads.
3. Who else handles it
Only the services we need to run Clear the Bar, each for its own part:
- Our interview platform, run by DSB Technologies, LLC: holds your recordings, transcripts and results.
- Anthropic: the AI model behind the interviewer and the scoring.
- AssemblyAI: turns what you say into text.
- Cartesia: the interviewer's voice.
- Daily: the video room and its recording.
- Stripe, and in India Stripe's Link: payments, and the tax on them.
- Our email provider: the emails we send you.
- Amazon Web Services: where the site and its data run.
4. Shared links
Nothing you do here is public unless you share it. A link you make can be opened by anyone who has it, and shows what the share page says it shows. You can turn any link off at any time; after that it opens for nobody. Someone who opened it before may have kept what they saw.
Shared pages are hidden from search engines.
5. Cookies
Four small cookies, all needed for the site to work. No tracking or advertising cookies.

6. What you control
- Who sees your rounds: nobody, until you share a link. Turn any link off from your account page.
- Emails: turn result and link-opened emails off from your account page, or from the link in any of them.
- Your resume: change it on your account page.
- Where the law gives you the right to see, correct or erase your data, email hello@clearthebar.ai and we will act on it as that law requires.
7. How long we keep it
For as long as you use Clear the Bar. Payment records we keep for as long as tax law requires.
8. Age
Clear the Bar is for people aged 18 and over.
9. Questions and complaints
Write to hello@clearthebar.ai. In India, this is also the contact for grievances under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If this page changes in a way that matters, we will email you.
